MIUI 9 (8.5.11) for Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S & Redmi Note 5 Pro brings Android P-style UI changes
Two of Xiaomi’s most popular Android smartphones were recently launched. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S was launched in China with MIUI 9 / Android 8.1 Oreo . The Android Oreo -based MIUI update for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro leaked back in April . With the introduction of Android P , Xiaomi released a near-stock build of Android P for the Mi Mix 2S . While we still aren’t sure what the next version of MIUI will look like, it appears that an upcoming version of MIUI 9 will bring a redesign to the lock screen, notifications, recent apps, quick settings, volume panel, and more. Version 8.5.11 of MIUI 9 has leaked online for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 & 2S (based on Android 8.0 Oreo) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (based on Android 8.1 Oreo).
